Indigo Stuart is an emerging fashion designer whose work is rooted in craftsmanship, textile innovation, and emotionally durable design. She is the recipient of the Australian Fashion Foundation Scholarship, the National Graduate Designer Award, and the Australian Wool Education Trust Award by Woolmark.

Indigo’s design ethos blends heritage and innovation, informed by a 7-month exchange at the Swedish School of Textiles in Borås, where she developed a passion for zero-waste weaving and the narrative potential of textiles. Her graduate collection, Inheritance, explored garments as heirlooms — fusing material research, sustainable techniques, and cultural storytelling.
